OK so last week I retired from work.

It was time. I started work in 1965 at the National Provincial Bank at 129 High Street in Southampton. But that’s now an Indian Restaurant. So it was time.

But on Monday I start a 3 year BA (Hons) in Geography and International Relations at Plymouth University. I chose Plymouth as I live 100 yards away. So in my later years there’s a good chance of remembering where I live.

Next week is Fresher’s Week. The jokes have been done. To death.

Oh and on 01 November I start a part time job working in the University for one of their projects. I managed to have my interview on their annual Give a Pensioner a Job Day.

What have I done?

All I can say is I’m so looking forward to it! And a field trip in October!!
