I’m starting this blog in late 2017 as I’m retiring in September 2018 after 53 years at work mainly in banking and as a civil servant.

There will be no special theme, maybe an occasional rant against bad use of grammar or childhood or sporting mermories.

By way of background I was born in North London, within the sound of the Highbury Roar, and we moved to Southampton when I was 7. I retain a love of London that will show through in my posts.
